Jennie and Tony are good friends of ours from Seattle. They’d been wanting to schedule a session with their twins for quite some time and a couple of weeks ago, it finally happened. We spent the first half of our hour long session at their gorgeous home in Ravenna. I love photographing families at home because they often feel most comfortable there, and because the photos capture the background of their lives at that moment in time. It was fun getting to know Audrey and Sofia, and exploring their very different personalities …
Audrey is quite the extrovert these days – she loved performing for my camera:

A simple everyone-smile-at-the-camera shot is next to impossible at this age … and that’s just fine by me. Who wouldn’t prefer this kind of personality shining through instead?
